The Midwest Shootout is a regional event, inviting other Councils, Clubs, and individual divers to attend. It is generally held annually at Kimberling City Missouri area, on Tablerock Lake.

It includes events (on different days) in spear fishing, scuba skills, and underwater photography. These events are run on consecutive days, usually as team events, with a minimum of two and maximum of four divers.

Awards and prizes are presented at the dinner/party usually held on Saturday evening.
